The word association party game. One phone in the middle, everyone talks.
Put the phone in the middle of the table, add the players in seating order and press Start. The host says a starting word and who goes first. Take turns saying a word linked to the last one before the timer runs out. Repeat a word, run out of time or say something unrelated and you're out. Last player standing wins.
The smart judge uses Apple Intelligence on your iPhone. It needs an iPhone 15 Pro or later on iOS 26 or later, with Apple Intelligence turned on in Settings → Apple Intelligence & Siri. Without it, the game still works: every word is accepted, and your group settles disputes with HALT.
Press HALT. To reverse an accepted word, tap it to put that player out. To bring back a player whose word was rejected, choose Bring back. Link Up saves your decision as a house rule and follows it next time the same words come up. You can see your house rules, or forget them all, in Settings.
Yes. In Settings → Language you can play in Spanish, French, German, Portuguese or Hindi, or mix two languages in one chain. Your iPhone needs speech recognition for that language.
Change the turn time (3–20 seconds) and the speed-up in Settings → Timer, or pick the Party preset for longer turns.
Link Up is a party game. It has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no servers of its own. We don't collect, sell or share any personal information.
Link Up doesn't collect information from anyone, including children. The Family preset turns on the profanity filter and kid-safe starting words.
